Some projects really showcase what's possible when you combine multiple printmaking techniques.⁠

This limited edition print by Matt Small, produced for Nelly Duff Gallery back in 2019, brought together a whole range of processes to create a truly striking edition. We began with a textured silkscreen layer, followed by metallic silver ink, before digitally flatbed printing the artwork over the top. To finish, we added a beautiful copper iridescent ink and a spot gloss, giving the print incredible depth, texture and movement as it catches the light.⁠

It's projects like these that demonstrate how combining traditional craftsmanship with modern print technology can elevate an edition far beyond a standard print.⁠

It’s always rewarding to see artwork find its audience.

Last year, we had the pleasure of framing a number of original works by the late Alex Sádlo for Gaynor Sádlo. Alongside the framing, we also photographed the originals, creating high-resolution files for a range of accompanying prints on paper and canvas.

Now these works are part of a major touring retrospective in the Czech Republic, and it’s wonderful to see them displayed as they were intended.

Projects like this are a great example of how our photography, printing and framing services work together to support artists, estates and galleries from original artwork through to exhibition-ready presentation.

A big thank you to .sadlo for sharing these photos from the exhibition. It's fantastic to see the work up on the walls.

Full-colour silkscreen at its best ✨

Seeing an image come together layer by layer is something that never really loses its impact. This piece by Rich Simmonds, produced for Castle Galleries, is a great example of how well bold colour and graphic detail translate into silkscreen. 🎨

Built up from nine hand-mixed inks, each layer plays its part in creating a print with real depth, vibrancy and presence.
