Microsoft 365 prices are going up in July 2026, but don’t panic-buy anything.
If you’re a small business, the best move is a quick “license spring clean” now, before renewals land.
Here’s a simple checklist we’re recommending to our clients:
1) Count real users (not “shared” accounts)
2) Remove seats for leavers + old contractors
3) Check who actually needs Desktop apps vs web-only
4) Review add-ons (Teams Phone, extra storage, security tools)
5) Decide what you’ll standardise on (so you’re not overpaying across mixed plans)
Even a small tidy-up can offset a chunk of the increase.
