Before bringing us your iPhone or iPad, TAKE THE FREAKING CASE OFF AND CLEAN IT. 😂

We’ve opened devices containing crumbs, food, dirt, mould and things that probably had their own postcode. 🦠

At this point, some phones need a deep clean, not a screen replacement. 💀

We fix electronics.
We are NOT pest control, cleaners or forensic investigators. 🔬☣️

If your phone looks like it’s been living under the sofa since 2019, clean it before bringing it in.

Otherwise, there’s a very real chance we’ll hand it straight back to you. 😂

From tomorrow, FoneTek is officially entering Vacation Mode. 🌴🍺

So before you panic:

💀 No on-the-spot repairs.
📦 Drop-offs and collections will be limited, because, surprisingly, I can't fix your phone while floating in a swimming pool with a beer in my hand.

I'll still answer messages... eventually. If it takes a little longer than usual, it's probably because my hand is busy holding an ice-cold pint. Priorities. 🍺😎

I'll be back on 1st August, sunburnt, overfed, slightly poorer, and ready to rescue the phones you've somehow managed to destroy while I was away.

Until then...
Please don't test whether your iPhone is waterproof, don't let your toddler "repair" your Samsung, and definitely don't try the YouTube repair tutorial that starts with "Trust me..."

From 21st July until 31st July, I'll be swapping broken phones for sunshine, beaches and absolutely zero repair tools.
📵 No repairs. 📵 No diagnostics. 📵 No "It'll only take 5 minutes..."
If your phone decides to die while I'm away... try talking nicely to it. If that doesn't work, it'll have to wait until I'm back. 😅
Thanks for your patience and understanding. I'll be back on 1st August, recharged and ready to bring your devices back from the dead.
