We've been hoking in dark corners, and have found this lovely old Apple G4 PowerPC with its original keyboard and power cable. It is in perfect condition and has an 80GB IDE hard disk.

Its working as perfectly as when it was put away, and is specified per the attached pictures. It has a new (just before it was stored) installation of Mac OS 10.3.

Yours for £50.00 if you want something retro to play with.

That's another week over, with no end of work done and a disappointing solar eclipse in the middle of it.

We're closing at 12.00 today in order to go to a call, but will be back on Monday at 9.00. If you've any problems over the weekend please send a pm and we'll reply as soon as possible.

We also have four - that's right, four - refurbished laptops available, with prices from free (yes, a free laptop!!) to £140.00, with one running Linux Mint, one retro survivor on Windows XP and two on Windows 11. Get in touch before you give Amazon or PC World all your money.

We've also a blast from the past retro laptop for sale - this time a Dell Inspiron 6400 running the Windows XP Media Centre edition. This lovely machine could be yours for £30.00 (you'd spend more in McDonalds) and will play CDs, DVDs and retro games with no problem.

It's well specified for its age - it has an Intel Core 2 CPU running at 1.66GHz, 2GB of RAM - a massive amount for XP - an 80GB SATA hard disk and fully updated, licensed and activated copy of Windows XP is installed.

It has 4 USB ports, a VGA output, an SD card reader as well as a dial up modem and a LAN port, though we'd strongly advise against putting it online.

Its in lovely order apart from the main battery which holds no charge. The clock battery has been replaced and it has the original Dell charger.

We have another refurbished laptop for sale, this time an Acer Aspire A315-58. The cost of this one is £140.00. This one has had a lot of work and new parts and is in excellent condition. PM if you're interested.

It has a 15.6" screen, Intel i3 CPU running at 3.0 GHz with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. Its a very quick laptop, the battery holds a good charge and it comes with the original charger.

It has a new installation of Windows 11, 2x USB 3 & 1x USB 2 ports, an HDMI socket, wireless and wired network connections and a headphone socket.

All the software you need to get going in there including an office suite of programs.

That was a quick week (again) :)

We're still very busy and very grateful for it, and as ever if you're going to call in please ring first to avoid a wasted trip.

There'll be a few bargain refurbished PCs and at least one more laptop available next week, so if you're looking for a (whisper it) back to school or college computer and don't want to spend a fortune please get in touch.

Hard to believe that's July over - one of our busiest ever.

We're closing for the weekend now, but will be back on Monday at 9.00.

We still have two refurbished laptops available - an amazing deal on a Lenovo B570e running Windows 11 for £100.00, and a completely free of charge Dell N3050 in beautiful condition which has Linux Mint on it.

We have for sale for £100.00 a refurbished (by me, so done properly) Lenovo B570e laptop.

This has an Intel i3 CPU running at 2.20 GHz, 4GB of RAM, a 120GB solid state disk, a DVD-RW drive (getting rare), HDMI, VGA, USB & LAN ports, and its running Windows 11, activated and fully up to date.

The battery holds a good charge. It doesn't have the original charger but the one supplied is fully compatible.

This is a good, solid laptop and it comes with all the software you'll need. PM if you're interested.
