Mid-August can only mean one thing, it’s time for the Ulster Kart Club IGP, the highlight of the Irish karting calendar!
Having supported the King of the Corner since 2018, Wilkinson Design will once again be providing our custom trophies this year, along with the awards for Junior and Senior Driver of the Meeting.
We’ll also be introducing a new award, ‘Ace of the Day’, which will be presented to a deserving driver who narrowly missed out on the overall crown.
The winner will be decided by the on-track officials.
We’ll also be supplying the coveted IGP Plates for each of the class winners.
There will be a new name added to the Terry Wilkinson IGP Trophy this year, which will be presented to the Tillotson T4 Junior winner for the first time, commemorating 40 years since our very own Jonny won his first IGP title.
The club has put a huge amount of hard work into the meeting and has been rewarded with the largest entry in many years, which should guarantee some fantastic racing!
The only question that remains is, who will be taking home the King of the Corner title, along with those coveted IGP plates?
