Will AI content replace human content?

We highly doubt it. But to find out what creatives thought, we conducted our own research.

Many of you shared the same view, AI is coming and it's unavoidable. But that's not a bad thing.

It's probably actually really good. The consensus of the creative industry is that AI is here to stay, so it is best to get used to it, and although AI content is good, it lacks that human touch.

Many of you described it as 'soul'.

The study, which surveyed creatives across various roles, ages, experience, and industries, provides unprecedented insights into the attitudes, concerns, and expectations surrounding AI in the creative space πŸ€–πŸŽ¨

Here are some of our key findings:

β€’ The creative industry is highly aware of AI's presence and potential impact.

β€’ Most creatives believe that AI will improve or streamline their workflow (71.7%) and expect it to impact their roles within the next decade (74.3%).

β€’ Only a small percentage (6.2%) of respondents strongly agreed that AI threatens their job security.

β€’ While opinions on AI's long-term potential are divided, the majority are cautiously optimistic.

β€’ Nearly two-thirds of professionals recognise AI's transformative potential and believe that those who do not adopt it will be left behind by competitors.

Here are 5 mind blowing stats from our research on the impact of AI in the creative industry:

1. 24.8% of creatives believe that AI threatens their job security πŸ”’

2. 58.3% of creatives who work in AR, VR or 3D are already using AI in their role regularly πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»

3. 84.5% of marketers think that AI will have a big impact on their job role in the coming years ⏰

4. 31 - 40 year old creatives are most likely to think that AI will support them in their role πŸ‘

5. Only 1.8% of creatives think AI content is better than human content in its current state πŸ’ͺ

"If you are starting out in the programming industry, one of my main pieces of advice is to keep it simple and have a clear basic understanding. If you have the groundwork in front of you, you can easily build upon it. Don't go bounding into the deep end, start small and build up."
