New to Brew 👋

Say hi to Adam Carman, our new Business Development Manager.

He's spent over 15 years working across digital delivery and business development, and he’ll be working closely with new clients, shaping early conversations, and helping make sure projects start in the right way.

Glad to have you on the team, Adam.

Social platforms are making it easier to create content, but they’re also getting stricter about what counts as good content.

This month, Meta is rolling out more AI-powered creation tools, while LinkedIn is cracking down on AI content, X are making changes to Chat and LinkedIn have added new ways to repurpose events.

Do you really need a new website?

A new site feels like the obvious fix when leads are slow, conversions are weak, or the current site is looking a bit tired. But a lot of the time the actual problem isn't the website.

Rebuild without solving the issue and you'll probably end up with the same problems, just with a nicer design.

Start with an audit before you commit to a full rebuild. Gareth Llewellyn, our Managing Director breaks down what to look for.

Getting senior stakeholders aligned quickly is easier said than done.

The Marketing Society came to us with a clear challenge: they wanted to improve member signup and retention, but needed senior teams to agree on the right direction first. So we brought everyone into a decision sprint together.

That work helped clarify their membership offer, simplify the user journey, and reshape some key pages on the site.

Within a month of launch, membership had tripled. Within six months, total website applications were up 49%.

A paid campaign can look healthy and still be chasing the wrong thing.

The clicks are coming in.
The spend is moving.
The report has enough numbers to look busy.

But when someone asks what it’s actually doing for the business, the answer gets messy.

That usually starts with the campaign objective.

If the business needs enquiries, but the campaign is optimised for traffic, the platform will go and find clickers.

Not buyers.
Not decision-makers.
Not people ready to take the next step.

Just people likely to click.

This guide breaks down how to choose the right campaign objective across Google, LinkedIn and Meta and how to match it to what the business actually needs before the budget goes live.

One of the best parts of any project is seeing the impact it has after it's finished.

After working with UWS, we recently received thank you postcards and artwork from students.

A nice reminder that there are real people behind every brief and that creative work can have an impact in ways you may not think of.

A big thank you to UWS for the opportunity to be part of the campaign, and to the students for the thoughtful messages. 💙

The latest platform updates are changing how content is discovered, translated and controlled.

This month:

✨ Meta strengthens safety measures around AI
✨ TikTok Shop becomes a source of product insight
✨ Instagram expands Reel translations, while pulling an AI feature after backlash
✨ Google makes image search more inspiration-led
✨ X adds more video creation tools
✨ LinkedIn tests topic-based feeds

Content is becoming more personalised, but platforms are also being forced to think about consent, safety and trust.

Juggling multiple agencies sounds flexible, until you become the person holding it all together.

Website here.
SEO there.
Paid media somewhere else.

A full-service agency should make that easier.

One team, one strategy, fewer gaps.

Off-the-shelf software is fine, until your idea isn’t.

Some ideas are too big, too niche, or too innovative for a standard solution.

That’s where bespoke web applications come in.

Custom-built digital solutions, tailored to your specific needs, with only the features and integrations that are actually relevant.

At Brew Digital, we create bespoke web applications that turn your vision into reality.
