It's Day 2 of Norwich Science Festival!
Here's a few highlights of what you can expect today:
🐯 11am, Animal Top Trumps - back by popular demand, Dr Jess French and Prof Ben Garrod go head-to-head as the tiniest critters go up against the world's mightiest beasts. (SOLD OUT)
🍍 11am, Yum or Yuck? - tuck into the science behind taste in this family-friendly show, featuring live experiments and demonstrations!
✨11.30am, Adventures in Science - join the Magical Mr. West and his corvid companion Crowbert on an incredible adventure into the world of science!
💃 2pm, Body/Space/Play - pencils at the ready! Enjoy a creative Sunday afternoon with an experimental drawing workshop featuring live dancers.
🥒 6pm, Suspended Seasons - join River Cottage’s Rachel de Thample for a hands-on evening of pickling, fermentation, and food preservation.
and so much more! The Explorium will be open 10am-4pm ready for visitors to create, discover and experiment with free, hands-on activities:
🦋 Butterfly Conversation - get a close-up look at the lifecycle of a butterfly through an interactive microscope.
☀️ BBC: Weather Forecasting - come and have a go at being a weather presenter!
🏎️ Ansible Motion - take a seat in a F1 simulator and see how high on the leader board you can get!
👁️ Verity Newman - create a fun colour-altering eye piece to change how you see the world around you.
🤖 Stemex - build, code and explore STEM with a hands-on windmill and robotics workshop.
