📍 The Createry is located at 4 Castle Quay, NG7 1FW, just outside the immediate city centre opposite The Park and near Nottingham Castle.

🚗 By car
- Let us know in advance if you need a free parking space and we'll almost always be able to accommodate!
- There is a dropped curb and disabled-friendly parking space outside the building. Please let us know in advance if you need this space so we can make sure it's available.
- Other parking is available at the retail park, or there's paid street parking on Castle Boulevard (60p-£1.20/hour).

🚌 By bus
- The Skylink drops you almost outside on Castle Boulevard (this is also the route from/to East Midlands airport).
- For other bus routes you can walk from Market Square (approx. 20 mins) or Broadmarsh Bus Station (approx. 10 mins)

🚋🚆 By tram or train
- The nearest tram stop is at Nottingham Railway Station.
- From the station, the walk down Castle Boulevard or the canal takes 10-15 mins.

“If you have a dream, go after it.”

Today in the studio, we were joined by , former Grimsby Town footballer, who shared his story publicly for the very first time.

From joining a college football programme at 16 to earning a two-year professional contract, and now running his own football coaching business, Jaz opened up about the highs, the lows, and the mindset that has shaped his journey.

One message stood out:

“I didn’t receive or ask for any help when I was at my lowest after multiple injuries and setbacks.”

He also shared one of the toughest moments of his career:

“I had one opportunity to start for the first team. During our shape session on the Friday, a player who was desperate to start ahead of me went through my ankle and injured it in three places. I spent the next three months watching from the sidelines.”

For many people, setbacks like these could have led to giving up. For Jaz, they became the foundation for growth, resilience, and a stronger mindset.

Through the lessons he learned across multiple clubs, he discovered that success isn’t just about talent, it’s about how you respond when things don’t go your way.

Although his professional football career didn’t unfold as he’d hoped, Jaz has channelled that same dedication into becoming a top Ironman athlete, a sport he has fallen in love with while helping develop the next generation of footballers to reach their full potential.

He left us with one simple but powerful message:

“Go after what you want. Have a plan, and execute it.”
