If you're a small business and your marketing consists only of digital PPC activity, it's likely you'll only be focusing on the final stages of the purchasing process, or ‘activation’, without paying attention to the earlier stages. It may be effective as it limits wastage by focusing on customers who are buying right now. However it can be seen as taking the fruit from the tree, without watering it. You know that can't be right, certainly not for the long-term! What about the earlier stages in the buyer's purchasing process, where they’re doing their research?
