Someone asks ChatGPT for a plumber in Lincoln. It pulls together pages that plainly answer things. Clever wording gets skipped.
And most local sites are all mood. Big hero image, a line about passion and quality, then nothing that actually says what you do, where you go, or roughly what it costs.
Write it so it can be lifted. What you do, in the words customers use, not your industry's words. The towns and villages you cover, named. Your prices, or at least a starting from figure. And the questions you get asked every week, answered properly.
Put the answer in the first sentence, then explain. That's the bit that gets repeated back to someone asking about you.
