It's 'Throwback Thursday' and this week we thought we would share this photo of Cyril Jones the founder of the Ashley Press and Sam the Boxer dog. Pictured at the original home of the business in Sherwood Avenue, Poole where a Jardine pedal powered press was used to print jobs.
It is difficult to tell from this photo, but what makes Cyril even more formidable is that he pedalled the press, despite losing a leg to childhood polio!
