I’ve been a bit quiet on here recently, mostly just because it’s been super busy with work and family life!

What’s new? I’ve landed a large website re-design & build for a B2B platform which I’m currently in the UX Discovery phase of.

I have also been deep in the UX for askmargo.ai. We ran some in-person user testing this week and the results were absolutely fascinating. It is always so grounding to see how people actually interact with what you have built versus how you thought they would. I am looking forward to sharing more of those insights soon.

On top of that, I am currently conjuring up a new workshop idea with Charlotte Simonsen (Charlotte • Branding & Graphic Design) and looking at bringing back 👀 We have some exciting things in the works, so stay tuned for that. It feels good to be back at the desk and diving into such meaty projects.

I have included a few snaps from my recent trip to Malta, my office which is back to normal after a short holiday in the room upstairs, as well as cat tax (the naughty tortie).

Had an absolutely brilliant time at event at the Chichester Festival of Business today. Incredible community and it’s clear how passionate founders Debbie and Emily are about connecting people and encouraging collaboration between businesses. I was even nominated for an award and was a runner up in that category. More on that next week, needs a post of its own 👀😅 perfect introduction back into the world of networking. Got me excited about again, watch this space

Hello again from New Zealand 👋 Meant to be home because our flights via Dubai got disrupted, so we are now here until the 28th March. Decided to spend a few days in the north of the north island, it’s just stunning. Could happily spend a life time exploring this beautiful country. Emails still open, keeping things ticking over between spending time with family and seeing the sights. See you soon uk!

Currently in Queenstown, one of the most beautiful towns! So vibrant yet relaxed, love this place. It’s absolutely freezing for the most part unless the sun is out, very different climate to the north island!

Made the return to work from Mat leave last week! As you can see there’s one baby who insists on joining me for work. Incase you’re wondering why she’s wearing pyjamas, Rocket got neutered last week so she’s been wanting lots of cuddles. My inbox is open if anyone has any web projects they want to discuss!

I've been a bit quiet on socials because just over a week ago my husband and I welcomed to the world our baby daughter 🥰 Everyone is doing very well and we're super happy just getting into the swing of things.

Whilst I'm off I am being supported by an amazing freelance team who are keeping things ticking over, and I'm extremely grateful to all my clients who have been very patient and understanding whilst stuff gets handed over 🙏 I'll be checking in occassionally but otherwise leaving things in the capabale hands of the team and will be back to work in the new year 😊
