You may have seen reports about a recently discovered critical security vulnerability affecting PHP, the technology that powers millions of websites worldwide, including WordPress.
We wanted to provide a quick update on what we've been doing behind the scenes to keep our clients' websites secure.
We've been following the situation closely and have been in direct contact with our dedicated server provider, who has confirmed that the necessary emergency PHP security patches have already been applied to our server.
Although the patches are in place, our work doesn't stop there. We're taking additional precautions, including independently verifying the updates, reviewing our hosting environment and checking for any signs of suspicious activity.
We'll continue to monitor developments and take any further action necessary.
There is no action required from our website clients at this stage. We're managing the technical side of things and will communicate directly if anything further is needed.
Website security isn't just about responding when something goes wrong. It's about staying informed, being proactive and taking the necessary steps to protect the websites we're responsible for.
We appreciate that website security isn't something you should have to worry about day to day. That's why we work behind the scenes to keep your website maintained, updated and protected.
It's all part of the service.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
