Although DCBComputing has closed, we’ve been busy getting the shop prepared for my wife, Emma.

The electricians, plumber and joiner should be finished this week.

All the painting is nearly complete, and the new state of the art grooming equipment will begin to arrive soon.

Our new shop signage is busy being created, and I’ve included the design so you can all see how it will look when it opens in September.

We’re very excited.

Well that's a wrap all you lovely friends and clients.

The last bits of stock sold yesterday, and we've managed to sell everything.

As we've sold all stock, with immediate effect, DCBComputing is now permanently closed.

I once again want to thanks the many hundreds of you who used our services, and/or bought items from us over the last 13 years. We've made a lot of long term friends through the shop, and we will miss seeing you all.

The good news is, we've already been into the shop today, and started knocking through, moving the counter, painting etc. Ready for Emma (my wife) opening 'Suds and Sparkle Pet Boutique' in September. She's a fantastic dog groomer, but also grooms rabbits and guinea pigs, as well as puppy intro grooms, shampoo & tidy, nail cutting and much more.

I am still keeping my hand in the retail side, by helping Emma. She wants to ensure the very best selection of leads, collars, coats, beds and much more will be available to purchase.

Emma has even got me working some Saturdays to help her out. Whilst she goes into the shop with a healthy existing client base, it will take time to build further, and I'm looking forward to helping her.

Thanks again to you all, and I will no doubt see some of you in September.

For those of you who wish to sign the Mark Menzies MP petition against the proposed substations in our area.

The petition will be available for signing at DCBComputing, Poulton St, Kirkham from Monday 8th January.

Opening hours are;
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - 9am til 4pm
Wednesday and Friday - 9am til 1pm
Saturday/Sunday - Closed

We hope you can bob in as the more signatures we have will assist Mark in urging the government to heed our concerns and work with those leading the project to seek alternative connections to the National Grid.

Please do share this, so we can get as many wet signatures as possible.
