We're starting to diversify a little bit into photo restoration. The top right is a passport sized picture that one of our local heroes has carried with pride in his wallet for over 50 year. Obviously it was very much the worse for wear but we took a high definition picture of it and worked a little magic.
He seemed pleased with the result and we printed the restored versions onto good quality, glossy paper for him.

As many of you will know, we had intended to close our shop and move the business to home. We would still offer all the same services but in a different way.
A lot of people, most of whom didn't actually take proper notice of what we were planning started to complaint and ask "what are we going to do". Well what a lot of them have done is bought computers elsewhere then brought them to us when they have a problem, most of them expecting us to sort out their problem either free or for a very small fee.
Instead of supporting their local business so it can stay open and they will have someone they can rely on, they go running off to Currys or buy something from eBay or Facebook Marketplace with no warranty then moan to us when it's not good.
We aren't closing, we're going to rebrand the shop. We own Recycled Laptops Ltd so from 24th October we'll have a new sign and new attitude.
Over the years we've had some wonderful customers who we love dearly, since Covid we seem to have more and more that just want to take, take, take, are new happy and want everything for free.
We hope to be here for years to come but we do need support to do ao.

We've made a slight adjustment to our opening times. Closing half an hour later on Tuesdays and half an hour earlier on Fridays.

We've now arrived at the point where I personally won't run Windows 10 anymore because it isn't secure and access to a lot of websites isn't possible.
Many of you will have checked compatibility and been told your computers are not suitable for Windows 11. This is true of much older computers but there are a lot that we can upgrade to Windows 11 despite them not being officially compatible.
If we can't upgrade or we know that your current machine would be extremely slow if we did we can look at speeding it up or replacing it with one of our fully refurbished PC's or laptops which all come with a 12 month warranty. Best of all we can usually set up your new computer with your old password still save. (Usually 😀).

We'd decided not to close the shop as we'd planned.
Instead we're going to have a major rebrand.
