🚜 SFI 2025/26: 3 record-keeping habits that protect your payment

SFI pays for actions you can prove, not just actions you did. A few small habits make all the difference when it comes to claim time:
📅 Date everything. A photo of a buffer strip or hedgerow means nothing to the RPA without a date and location attached to it.
📍 Match your records to your parcels. General farm diary notes won't cut it — evidence needs to tie back to the specific parcel and action on your agreement.
🗂️ Don't leave it to claim week. Multi-year agreements mean you could be asked for evidence from actions carried out 2–3 years ago. If it's not recorded as you go, it's hard to reconstruct later.

Small habits now save a lot of stress (and money) later. 🌾
