In the peak of the British summer time a festival full of the most incredible chicken wings, ice sculptures, brass bands, axe-throwing, dunk tanks, eating competitions, and gallons of beer goes down very well.

Wing Fest UK London 2026 was both food festival and fever dream, and Wireless Solutions had the job of keeping the whole thing online.

Sitewide WiFi across three days for production, EPOS, traders, and over 20,000 hungry guests, this year it included a captive portal login by Captive WiFi that leaned fully into the theme (safety goggles, chicken wing in hand, no notes).

If you’re going to make people connect to WiFi before they can order, you might as well make them smile!

The queues never stopped, and it was great to see the energy from Friday’s opening night still there when it wrapped up on Sunday.

It’s not always large, complex events that we connect.

Here we were providing the internet connectivity to Camper Cafe with a single Starlink for payments.

1 swim, 1 coffee van, 600 people, 1.5 mad hours of payments.

With around 1000 people in a condensed area, we could cut through the contention to allow payments to flow easily through their payment system. The coffee van may have had a breakdown, but the connectivity didn’t. 💪🏼

Congratulations to on a fantastic Badminton Flower Show. Set against a truly magnificent backdrop, it was the perfect location for such a spectacular event, which was enjoyed by thousands of garden enthusiasts.

A quick trip up for the de-rig to disconnect the internet supply, it was amazing to see the site almost already nearly cleared less than 24 hours after the finish.

This internet supply kept the event online, providing the gateway for payments and communications. Disconnecting everything securely, and maintaining the integrity of the internet for Badminton is entrusted to us with great honour.

It’s great to see events like The RHS Flower Show being held at this historical and stunning venue.

Henley Regatta - what feels like year 218 😆 is officially done and dusted.

Was it just us or was it the biggest one yet?…..The weather, the production, the promotion, the location, the delights to behold on the banks of the River Thames.

Everything came together in perfect harmony, and it was A-MAZ-ING!!

Delivering the WiFi for and , covering around two thirds of the river frontage, it gets better every year.

The team are a joy to work with, and so professional (we even stole their photo of the Guest WiFi QR code, thanks guys 👏🏻).

Because for us, it’s not just about delivering the mission critical production and trader WiFi, the Guest WiFi is also just as important. With thousands using it every day, it’s important to keep the guests connected too.

We ran security cameras to keep everyone safe, and people counting solutions to supply the intelligence to keep this regatta at the forefont.

Love what we’re doing together. Exciting times.

This year, we took on the mantle of delivering site-wide connectivity for the festival.

After attending the launch event in 2011 with , it was great to return and see how .woodall has grown it to become such a vibrant, fun and energy-filled event.

It’s a seriously huge event now. By day, a sports event with rugby, netball and dodge ball matches being played across the site. By night, a music festival, with top DJs and sets keeping the party going into the small hours.

Our brief: to deliver site-wide public WiFi with a branded captive portal that got thousands of guests online in seconds, alongside secure, segmented connectivity keeping payments, ticketing and event operations running without interruption.

The best compliment was the silence we heard. It meant that everything ran as it should - it just worked, without awareness or consciousness.

The magical Hay Festival Hay-on-Wye, with all the latest technological advancements to enhance accessibility, engagement and safety.

⭐️Site-wide connectivity for production, media, streaming,
traders, ticket box office and guests
⭐️ Listen WiFi - allowing anyone across the site to listen live to any of the events, particularly useful for those hard of hearing
⭐️Captive portal for data capture when guests access the free WiFi network
⭐️ Security cameras deployed across the site
⭐️ 40+ laptops and 2 large printers for the admin team and artists

It’s a smooth operation run by Chris and Lewis to perfection. Comments from the client like “they’ve been brilliant, as always” are what we like to hear. Top boys, and always smiling.

Waitrose Garden Party 2026.

Our first year of supporting this event, we turned a beautiful Henley riverside location (with no internet, infrastructure or WiFi) into a fully online event.

Guest WiFi, media streaming, production and talent WiFi - they had it all. And it worked like a dream.

What an amazing event, we’re delighted with the results and to be asked to return next year!

Badminton Horse Trials 2026. One of Europe’s largest events with over 110,000 through the gates on Saturday alone.

Our 4th year of connectivity.

5 days. Over 600 traders. One media centre. Organiser’s office. Multiple scoring locations. Live broadcasting. Food, drinks & bars. Guest WiFi zones.

Our 7-strong team is firing on all cylinders at Badminton 💪
Site connectivity is rolling out zone by zone:

🟢 Green: tested & live
🟠 Amber: almost there
🔴 Red: still to install

We’ve had incredible weather so far (long may it last 🤞), and the Badminton crew + contractors have been an absolute dream to work with.

Mutual trust and respect make all the difference on event sites. We even squeezed in a cheeky beer night with friends and co-suppliers - a chance to catch up and put the world to rights 🍻

Now it’s early nights and back at it. It’s full-on, but staying sharp is key.

It’s what we do. It’s what we love. And working with great people makes it even better.
