Another amazing install from the team today, this time for Featherstone Partners in Yattendon, Berkshire.

The brief was to get internet to the newly converted Barn that was the other side of the car park from their current office and install a AV meeting rool solution for them to use with Teams, Zoom & Google Meet.

First our friends over at Secure Systems (uk) LTD started by running an 8-Core Fibre cable from the existing office to a newly converted barn via high level Catenary wire. They then ran Cat6 cabling internally to the new Access Point and Screen locations and terminated these in the kitchen area as agreed with the client. They also installed new power sockets to the Switch and Screen locations as well. Our team then installed USW-Pro-8-POE with Fibre SFP modules at both ends to connect the buildings and then installed a ceiling mounted UniFi U7 Pro Access Point to give them high speed WiFi access.

Once the network was all sorted, the team got on with installing the Samsung 65" UHD screen, Logitech Rally Bar Mini and Airtame 3 wireless collaboration device that we had supplied. All neatly installed with no cables showing.

Once all setup and configured, the team provided some training to the customer on the use of Airtame, before tidying up and returning to base in their air conditioned vehicles, which was a nice restbite from the 34°C heat.

Well done to the team, another great install and the customer was delighted with the end result, and so are we. The project was all project managed by our incredible team, from the initial customer brief, wiring diagrams, procurement, and then the final install.
