GPS has transformed how we navigate and track people on the surface, but underground, it simply doesn't work.

In tunnels, satellite signals cannot pe*****te rock and concrete, leaving many projects reliant on manual sign-in boards, radio communication or paper-based records to keep track of personnel and assets.

In critical situations, uncertainty is not an option.

Foresolutions provides continuous, real-time visibility where GPS cannot.

Using low-cost BLE tags, fixed mesh anchors and a self-healing wireless network that extends throughout the tunnel, our solution delivers live location data for both personnel and equipment from portal to tunnel face.

Automatic mustering at the tunnel entrance provides an instant, accurate record of who is underground, where they are by zone and when they have safely exited.

This supports safer evacuations, lone-worker protection, permit management, compliance reporting and improved operational efficiency, while giving project teams complete confidence in the location of both people and critical assets.

When visibility improves, so does decision-making.

Because underground, knowing who is on site isn't enough.

You need to know exactly where they are.

When GPS stops, visibility shouldn't.

Every minute an aircraft spends on the ground matters ✈️

Delays during turnaround can disrupt schedules, increase operational costs and impact the passenger experience.

While baggage handling, cargo operations and ground support all play a role, one factor often overlooked is visibility.

When airport teams can quickly locate critical assets, equipment and shipments, they can make faster decisions, improve coordination and reduce unnecessary delays.

At Foresolutions, we help aviation partners achieve greater operational visibility through real-time asset tracking and monitoring.

By providing accurate, end-to-end insight into the location and status of critical assets, we enable teams to respond proactively, minimise disruption and keep operations running efficiently.

In aviation, better visibility leads to better decisions, every minute saved counts.

If you're looking to improve visibility across your airport or aviation supply chain, we'd love to help.

Following our latest site visit last week, learn why radio coverage design is critical in quarry and mining environments 🏗️

Reliable radio communications play a vital role in the safe and efficient operation of quarry and mining sites.

However, achieving consistent coverage is rarely straightforward.

Every site presents its own challenges.

Deep excavations, tunnels, processing plants, changing terrain and large machinery can all impact radio performance, creating areas where communication may be unreliable if systems are not designed correctly.

At Foresolutions, we take a site-specific approach to radio network design.

Before recommending a solution, we assess the operational environment, identify potential coverage challenges and design a system that provides dependable communications across the areas where they are needed most.

A well-designed radio network helps to:
- Improve workforce safety through reliable communications.
- Support a faster response in emergency situations.
- Enhance coordination between operators, maintenance teams and supervisors.
- Reduce operational downtime caused by communication issues.
- Provide a scalable solution that can adapt as a site develops.

Whether supporting surface operations, underground tunnels or complex industrial facilities, the objective remains the same, to deliver reliable communications that enable teams to work safely and efficiently.

At Foresolutions, we believe that effective radio coverage is achieved through careful planning and engineering, ensuring each solution is designed to meet the operational requirements of the site rather than relying on a standard approach 👷‍♂️

Extending Asset Visibility Beyond GPS 📍

For years, GPS has been the foundation of fleet and asset tracking, giving businesses greater visibility over vehicles, equipment and field operations.

But as organisations continue to digitise their operations, one challenge remains: what happens when those assets move indoors?

Inside warehouses, manufacturing facilities, hospitals and commercial buildings, GPS can no longer provide the level of visibility businesses need.

Yet this is often where some of the most valuable assets are located, and where time spent searching for equipment, unnecessary asset purchases and operational inefficiencies begin to add up.

The next stage of asset tracking is not simply about replacing GPS. It's about extending visibility into environments where traditional tracking has always struggled.

At Foresolutions, we believe indoor asset tracking is becoming less about location alone and more about operational insight.

Understanding where assets are, how they move and how they're being utilised gives organisations the information they need to improve productivity, reduce downtime and make more informed decisions.

As indoor positioning technologies continue to evolve, businesses have an opportunity to move beyond simply tracking assets and start using location data to improve the way they operate.

The question is no longer "Where is this asset?"

It's "What can this data tell us about our business?"

In fast-paced operational environments, communication needs to be instant, reliable, and built for the realities of frontline work🗣️

At Foresolutions, we help organisations modernise operational communications by combining the power of Zello's Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) platform with RugGear's rugged device portfolio, creating a solution that delivers the simplicity of traditional radio communications with the flexibility of modern mobile technology.

Whether it's aviation ground operations, logistics, construction or industrial environments, teams can benefit from real-time voice communications, emergency alerts, location services, messaging and workforce applications all from a single rugged device.

The RugGear RG880i, with its dedicated PTT button, high-output speaker and IP68/MIL-STD rugged design, is purpose-built for demanding frontline operations, while Zello provides secure, unlimited-range communication over existing cellular and Wi-Fi networks.

The result is a smarter, more connected workforce with improved operational visibility, reduced device complexity and communications that keep teams moving.

If you're exploring alternatives to traditional radio systems, we'd be happy to discuss how Foresolutions can support your transition to a modern PoC solution📶

Why Communication May Be the Most Underrated Safety System on the Airfield ✈️

When aviation safety is discussed, the conversation often centres around aircraft technology, maintenance programmes, compliance standards and operational procedures.

Yet one of the most critical safety systems on any airfield isn't installed on the aircraft at all.

It's communication.

Every day, ground crews work in environments that are fast-moving, noisy and constantly changing.

Aircraft movements, service vehicles, weather conditions and multiple teams operating simultaneously create an environment where clear, reliable communication is essential.

In these conditions, a missed instruction isn't just an inconvenience.

It can lead to delays, operational disruption, equipment damage or in the worst cases, serious safety incidents.

That's why modern safety strategies are increasingly focusing on more than just protection.

The goal is to help workers remain connected, aware and productive while staying protected from the hazards around them.

Advances in communication technology now allow ground personnel to maintain contact with pilots and colleagues while benefiting from hearing protection and environmental awareness.

This is particularly valuable during critical activities such as aircraft pushback, wing walking, maintenance operations, de-icing, fuelling and baggage handling, where coordination and situational awareness are fundamental to safe operations.

At Foresolutions, we believe the most effective safety solutions are those that protect people without creating barriers to productivity or communication.

Safety equipment should do more than help mitigate risk, it should enable teams to work smarter, stay connected and make better decisions in real time.
