Good to see the visuals I produced for the Camber campaign are being utilised by the local council.
I am very aware that the gentle tone and presence of these posters have little effect on those with zero conscience or respect but you have to start somewhere.
The welcoming and polite language used was carefully considered in order to put across the right message- one to seek mutual respect between those who live in the area, have businesses within it and those who visit.
Rome wasn’t built in a day.
Last summer, after a busy day at Camber Sands, a whopping 10 tonnes of waste was collected from one beach. That’s equivalent of around 190,000 plastic bottles!
If the bins are full, take your rubbish home with you and help protect the environment.
