Remedial works were recently completed for a client experiencing ongoing faults and unreliable operation with their site access control system.

The existing Paxton access control equipment was relocated into a new steel enclosure and reinstalled to deliver a neater, compliant, and more serviceable installation.

The barrier was also affected by ground loop issues and lacked adequate safety protection, so we upgraded the system with a BEA EvoLoop radar.

This provides configurable exit detection, safety, and entry zones from a single device, improving both reliability and safety.

The result is a cleaner installation and a safer, more dependable site entrance designed for long-term performance.

The project included tapping into an existing 95mm 4-core SWA via resin joint, installation of a new distribution board within a GRP enclosure, and coordination with civils for ducting requirements ahead of future installations.
