The Res Digital film crew were up in the Scottish Highlands this week, filming health and safety induction content for a client's new site.

The site induction will soon be uploaded to their digital platform, where employees, visitors and contractors complete their induction before arriving on site.

Despite the relentless midges, the team got all the footage needed for a top quality induction video.

The UK's last remaining operational blast furnaces.

This 2,000-acre Scunthorpe site is home to two active furnaces, each named after an English queen:

Bess and Anne.

Inside them, temperatures push past 2,000°C as iron ore, coke and limestone are transformed into molten iron.

It's a demanding environment, which is exactly why getting the induction right matters.

Res Digital's film team was on site last week producing up-to-date furnace-specific inductions for our client British Steel.

The core goal?

To make sure every contractor and staff member understands the process – and the risks – before they set foot near it.

The sun was out, but safety was the priority 💪

Our film crew were on-site with Prysmian last week to capture footage for a new induction module.

The videos will be hosted on their digital induction platform, giving employees access to key safety information before they arrive on-site.

When temperatures are pushing past 30°C and people are working around high voltage equipment, preparation matters.

We're proud to support Prysmian in making that information accessible wherever and whenever it's needed with top quality induction videos.

Most work experience involves a lot of watching.

Not at Res Digital! Domas is working with us every Thursday as part of his college placement.

And last week he came in on one of our busiest filming days yet.

The crew were in the green screen studio recording health and safety induction presentations for some of our key clients.

Prysmian, the OPA and Associated British Ports.

Domas got stuck right in.

He had a go at operating the camera and kept our presenter Gerry in frame and in focus throughout.

Whether it leads to a future career in media or not, hopefully it was a useful look at what working with a production company is all about.

Domas did a brilliant job, and we're happy to have him with us for the rest of the year.

Tyler recently coordinated an updated site induction module for our longstanding client px Group, whose digital induction platform we've proudly supported since 2017.

Despite site restrictions and safety legislation, our team got the job done with zero disruption on site.

We're pleased to announce that our Business Development Manager, Aimee, has joined the committee of the North Lincolnshire Health and Safety Group as Secretary!

The group has been bringing local businesses across North Lincolnshire together since 1947.

With health and safety professionals joining forces to:

As Secretary, Aimee will be handling meeting admin, communications, membership coordination and events.
