Posting 4x per week and getting crickets? 🦗

No enquiries, no DMs, maybe a few likes from the same five people, one being your mum.

It's one of the most frustrating places to be because you're clearly putting the effort in. The problem usually isn't your consistency, it's everything underneath it.

Here's what's usually going on:

📌 You're posting to the wrong audience. Reach means nothing if the people seeing your content would never buy from you.
📌 There's no clear next step. If every post ends without telling someone what to do, they won't do anything.
📌 Your content entertains but doesn't convert. Likes are not leads. Relatable content is great, but it needs to be paired with content that actually positions you as the solution to someone's problem.
📌 There's no strategy behind the schedule. Posting regularly is a habit. Posting with intention is a strategy. They're not the same thing.

Social media that generates enquiries isn't about volume, it's about making the right people feel like you're speaking directly to them.

September is the new January - are you ready for it? 📅

September has that same energy as January: fresh start, new goals, everyone suddenly motivated. Except unlike January, Q4 comes with real budget decisions, campaigns and deadlines attached to it.

The businesses that make the most of Q4 are the ones using August to prepare, not scrambling in September.

We've put together 5 questions worth asking yourself before Q4 kicks off. Good news is, most of these are fixable quickly with the right support 🤝

Turns out Albert the shire horse fancied himself as a bit of a director today 🐴🎥

Adam was out filming Boston Park Farm when Albert decided the footage needed his personal approval and came in for a closer look at the camera. Didn't say much, but the judging eyebrows said it all 😂

Honestly, some of our favourite shoots are the ones with a bit of chaos in them. You can plan the shot list all you want, but nothing beats a curious 900kg film critic wandering into frame.

Thanks for the quality control, Albert. 10/10, would film with you again.

You filmed one video, edited it perfectly, and posted it everywhere 🎥

LinkedIn: 47 views
Instagram: 3,000 views
YouTube: 12 views

Same video. Completely different results.

Why? Every platform has its own algorithm, its own audience, and its own rules for what gets rewarded. Posting the same thing everywhere and hoping it lands isn't a strategy.

📌 LinkedIn rewards value, longer captions and subtitles win.
📌 Instagram gives you 2 seconds to hook a scroll. Short Reels perform best.
📌 YouTube is a search engine, longer content with strong titles wins.
📌 Facebook has a huge audience but needs early engagement to get organic reach.
📌 TikTok rewards raw, authentic content over polish.

One shoot should give you multiple pieces of content, not one copy-paste post 📲

Bad copy talks about the business. Good copy talks to the customer.

Most businesses spend thousands on a website and about twenty minutes on the words. The design looks great, the branding is on point and then the homepage says something like ‘we are a passionate team of dedicated professionals delivering tailored solutions’💻

Nobody reads that and thinks these are the people I want to work with…

Good copy makes the right person feel like you're talking directly to them. It speaks to a problem they actually have, in language they'd actually use and makes the next step feel obvious.

Here's the quickest way to tell which one you've got: read your homepage out loud. If it sounds like a press release, it probably needs work.

Have you ever looked at your website and thought... why isn't this bringing in enquiries? 🤔

The truth is, it's not always about getting more traffic. Sometimes it's the little things on your website that stop visitors from becoming customers.

From unclear messaging to weak calls to action, a few simple changes could make a big difference.

If your website feels more like an online brochure than a tool that brings in business, this one's worth a read.
