Computer prices are so much higher this year. This is due to A.I. developers buying all the available DDR5 RAM Memory we need for the computers we build for you. Also massively affected are SSD's and now Graphics Cards. If your NEW Computer costs less than £1000 then its either built with the older DDR4 or it won't play the games you are told it will play at the standard you expect.
At the end of 2025, 32GB of DDR5 was £80-£100.
It's now £400-£450.
High speed 1TB Nvme SSD's were £60-£70.
It's now £140-£190.
Nvidia RTX 5060 8GB Graphics Cards were £250-£300.
It's now £350-£400.
This has increased prices across the board, the Entry Gaming system is at LEAST £300 more than it would have been before this situation.
Buying cheap means when you decide to upgrade, and you will, you will end up needing to replace everything due to the newer stuff not fitting your machine.
