I spent some time looking through local business websites this week, and I noticed the same few issues coming up again and again...
📱 The website looked great on a computer but was difficult to use on a phone.
📞 Phone numbers and contact buttons were hard to find.
🐌 Pages took too long to load.
⭐ Customer reviews weren't easy to find.
📍 There was very little local information, making it harder for customers (and Google) to know where the business operates.
📷 Poor quality or generic stock photos that didn't show the real business.
📝 Out-of-date information or services that are no longer offered.
🔍 The homepage focused on the company rather than how it helps the customer.
❓ No clear reason for a visitor to get in touch.
Out of curiosity... when was the last time you looked at your own website as if you were a new customer?
If you'd like me to cast a fresh pair of eyes over your website, comment 'WEBSITE' and I'll DM you a few honest pointers.
