Structured cabling installation for data centres - In addition to commercial data cabling requirements now extended extensivley to data centres. with over 15 years working in various Data cenres accross the country from structured cabling installtions,Patching, Switch and server installs. Furthermore these enviroments require high end. high speed data centre cabling and equipment. Generally these are also high density for both copper and fibre solutions. As data cenres are particularly sensitive to access and risk needs to be kept to a minimum. Pre-terminated fibre optic and Copper structured cabling are commonly used. As telephone cabling has moved away from analogue to digital and then IP based so has the network cabling requirements. Generally the majority of new telephone systems are now Voip. Therefore a minimum of Cat5e cabling is required with many commercialdata cabling projects specifying a minimum of Cat6 or Cat6a. In this instance the full test results we provide upon completion will give peace of mind that your Voip system will run at its full potential. Cabling and wireless
Consequently as WI-FI requirements have grown so have the requirements for the network cabling that connects them. In addition the units are nowable to transmit upto 10gb. Legacy cabling systems are not sutible for this new technology. Therefore any cabling above 55m must be a minimum of Cat6a. Furthermore Cat6a cabling is recomended for any installation requiring a 10gb link regardless of distance. Finally many WI-FI systems now require a duel data cable installation which exceed the legacy single uplinks. Audio Visual cabling
Audio visual cabling has evolved due to transmission requirements and higher specification for displays. In the same way WI-FI has moved past legacy cabling so has AV installation cabling. Cat6 is generally the minimum specification for audio visual installations and a large majority of commecial network cabling is not suitable.Audio viual cabling and hardware can be utilised in the folowing areas. CCTV Cabling
The majority of CCTV installation projects are now generally IP Cameras. Therefore these cameras require cat6 and above network cabling.Furthere more as these cameras need both power and a data signal from the same cable. The installation needs to be to standard and fully tested. A poorly installed cabling system will result in a poor CCTV system.
