CNS - Cargoes Update 9th September 2026 - With 15min. Downtime.
CNS have advised Albacore that there will be a minor release to their Cargoes platform which will require a 15-minute downtime within a two hour window. During this time their Customs Declaration Management System (CDMS), Pre-Lodgement, Transit and GB Safety & Security (BEEMS) will be unavailable. TDR (Trader Dress Rehearsal) Planned Downtime
Albacore have been informed HMRC will be completing a maintenance update to the CDS Trader Dress Rehearsal (TDR) service on Tuesday 8th September. The outage is expected to last 4 hours, beginning at 12:00 until 16:00. During this maintenance window HMRC will be refreshing the below data held in TDR: Trader personal, account, and licensing data, using data which will be copied from Production on Tuesday 8th September.

CNS Compass maintenance with outage
Albacore have been advised that CNS will be carrying-out essential maintenance on their Compass application. This work will require an outage of a maximum of 30 minutes. The work will take place during the following window: Thursday 20th August 1230hrs – 1300hrs. Impacted services: Compass will be unavailable, Compass database processes will be suspended, Compass messaging will be suspended (TOS, EDI, CDS), Compass messaging & database processing will be queued and processed after restart. All other CNS services will be available.

TDR (Trader Dress Rehearsal) Planned Downtime
Albacore have been informed that HMRC will be completing a maintenance update to the CDS Trader Dress Rehearsal (TDR) service. The outage is expected to last 4 hours, from 12:00 hrs BST until 16:00 hrs BST on Tuesday 25th August 2026. During this maintenance HMRC will be refreshing the following data in TDR: Trader personal, account, and licensing data, using data which has been copied from Production on Tuesday 25th August. Refreshing UK/EU Tariff data, using data which has been copied from Production on Wednesday 12th August. There will be a complete outage during this period.

MCP (Destin8) Scheduled Downtime
Albacore have been advised Destin8 will be unavailable on Monday 17th August 2026 at 20:30 hrs BST for up to 60 minutes. CDS messages submitted during this period will be queued and automatically processed once Destin8 is back up.

CNS have announced a downtime window to implement the latest enhancement to their Customs Declaration Management System (CDMS) Operational Dashboards – Now for Transit and Safety & Security The latest enhancement to CDMS will require a short, 15-minute period of downtime within a one-hour maintenance window, during which CDMS will be unavailable. ASM Online Services - Planned Downtime
Albacore have been informed by ASM that in order to carry out essential system maintenance, ASM Online Services will be unavailable between Wednesday, 12th August 2026 from 20:00 hrs BST and Thursday 13th August 2026 till 00:00 hrs BST. During this time you will be unable to send and receive messages in Sequoia. You will not be able to prepare any CDS declarations and will not be able to view or prepare Safety & Security declarations, ICS2 declarations or Transit movements so please retrieve any Transit documents you need prior to the outage.
