We're not a channel for posting reviews on products, so much, but just had to post on the new Coca Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla coke.
We remember it when it first came out in the USA, and it was amazing. Couldn't get enough of it. Had contacts at an American Airbase in Cambridgeshire who got us a big pack of em, and amazing.
Then it was released in the UK. It was.... ok. Not quite the same, but ok. Then it was stopped.
It was brought back in the last few years, and not great. Then Pepsi brings out Cream Soda flavour, which *is* like the original USA version of Vanilla Coke. It's right up there.
Walked into Tesco recently and saw the Holiday Creamy Vanilla coke, and had to try it. Have they pulled off a magic trick and brought it back tasting all lovely and vanillary....?
NO. 100% definitely NO. It almost tastes of nothing. There is sometimes the odd.. "oh is that a bit of vanilla"? But really, not worth spending even the ÂŁ1.50 clubcard offer on it.
Spend your money on the Pepsi Cream Soda - that's nailed it! We'd give that (in comparison to the original) a 9/10.
The Coca Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla will get 2/10. Frankly tastes flavourless, tho good packaging. But on taste, if you sense this will be all vanillay, like a Vanilla ice cream with coke: you will be disappointed.
Sorry Coca Cola.
