It’s rarely you meet a person who lights up your days and makes most problems easier to solve - just by being who they are.

Our Emma Duker is one of those people.

This week we had to say a very reluctant ‘work goodbye’ to her.

Yes, we’ll stay in touch.

Yes, we’ll meet up for drinks (and quizzes).

Yes, she will pop in.

But, we will miss her sooooo much.

Emma, we wish you all the very best for what comes next, and just need to say a huge THANK YOU for everything.

We have been very lucky to have you as our ‘More than office manager’.

We've always wanted to work with an architect. And our first experience with Cameron Bosque Brookes Architects didn't disappoint!

Collaborating with a team who themselves are visually articulate, added a layer of enthusiasm to our creative process. We were keen to impress and CBBA were trusting, affording us the freedom with which to do so.

The relationship between our teams has been key and works, we think, because of similarities between our professions. We both create, striving for solutions that are beautiful yet work for our clients. We share the same successes, but perhaps more importantly, the same frustrations, and this is something we've bonded over.

The relationship with the guys at CBBA continues and we'll be sharing more work - all of which we are immensely proud of.

For now, enjoy their new brand.

Merry Christmas from the team at VDM.

We'd like to thank everyone for their support throughout 2024, and we are very excited to come back on 2nd January 2025, and to pick up where we left off - creating the most amazing projects for our lovely clients, old and new!

We hope your break is joyful, and relaxing, and see you next year!

The results of VDM's festive sarnie tasting are in... 🥪😋

Full of festive flavour and with an even cross section of ingredients.. we all agreed that Marks and Spencer top the top spot!

Coming in a close second was our local sarnie shop - Platters St Neots. Made freshly with a great ingredients ratio and mouth watering overall taste you were just pipped at the post by M&S!

Lagging behind was a disappointing Waitrose & Partners. Pretty flavourless with a poor structural integrity.

We all finished with suitably full tummies!!!
