Converge wins Gold in the Commonwealth Games 🎖️

Yes, you heard that right, although it didn't call on any athletic ability! We won the Gold Commonwealth Environment and CSR Award 2026, which was collected by Paul McDavitt the Site Operations Manager at our Bathgate site in Scotland.

The Commonwealth Environment & CSR Awards are run by The Green Organisation to recognise and encourage positive environmental and social value action from the business community.

Converge’s approach to corporate social responsibility has always been to give equal importance to environmental and social responsibility goals and we feel honoured to have it recognised in these Games on home turf.

🐶 There are plenty of dog lovers here at Converge, that's why we voted to make Brighter Days Rescue, based in nearby Penkridge, our local charity partner.

Last week Oscar Bell from our Sustainability team, Aaron Grewal of People Ops and Lydia Greaves of Operations paid them a visit and handed over a selection of leads and collars kindly donated by Converge staff.

You can't fail to be moved by the job the volunteers there do to place dogs who've had it tough into loving homes.

We love getting out for some local volunteering and this week it was north of the border!

Yvonne Johnstone, Michelle Doran, Chris Campbell and Paul McDavitt from Converge's Bathgate site in West Lothian, Scotland headed out to nearby Addiewell Community Garden - a great project supporting all forms of community food growing.

They painted no less than 10 raised vegetable beds in one session. Mission accomplished🖌️

All of us, no matter where we are in our careers need mentors.

Today we celebrate one of our own, Dionne Barlow, Converge's Chief Marketing Officer, who provides inspirational mentorship and guidance for our marketing team every day. Dionne has been deservedly shortlisted for the The Channel Company's CRN Women and Diversity in Channel Awards 2026.

It's also great to see that this year the awards celebrate a broader definition of diversity, one not only focused on gender, but also class, ethnicity, level of education, LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity. Congratulations to Dionne and all those who've been shortlisted. 👏
