I have been a graphic designer for over 30 years and still love it. Mad about animals and a huge advocate of 'rescue is the best', if I could take in all the stray dogs and cats in the world and give them a safe, happy home I would! I found this - from exactly a year ago - and it's blown my mind a little because EVERYTHING changed only a month later. It's a good job I didn't accept the initial diagnosis of 'it looks like it's just blocked lymph nodes'. Can't tell you how much I wish it had been though 😂

This was my mum's cat.

He developed a cancerous growth under his tongue and went downhill very rapidly. Within 3 weeks of the first symptom he was sadly put to sleep in my mum's arms, in the sunshine, in her back garden.

Oscar was a rescue, the half brother of my cat Charlie, and a gift to mum to keep her company after my dad died. To say she wasn't impressed with my sister and I when we first presented him is an understatement 😂 But we knew it was the right thing for her and she will happily agree. During the 13 years she had with him he became THE MOST loved little feline and proved to be an absolute lifesaver during Covid.

He will never be forgotten ❤

A totally posey pair and utterly adorable! This before and after shows what can be achieved even if the angle of the original photo isn't ideal. I prefer images that have been taking at their eye level not from above. This is because often there isn't enough body/chest visible to use in the designs and a head on it's own can look very odd 😟
But I am always happy to take a look at your pictures first if you're not sure they will work, just send me a message ☺️
