Richard Doyle and Joy Wilkinson founded WIRET in the Summer of 2005, since then they have accumulated significant technical and commercial experience. The business started after Richard had been working for a software consultancy for many years that had high charge out rates and high running costs. In 2005, Joy and Richard decided to challenge this business model, by utilising the latest technology he could offer companies the same software development/consultancy as before but at lower rates, and also with much better working conditions for the staff. 8 years later, and things are still going strong, and the business continues to evolve with the latest in IT.
