Starting a business isn’t just about a logo or a clever name, it’s about you. Your story, your values, your reasons for beginning in the first place. And honestly? That’s the best place to start.
Have the idea - even if it’s a little messy.
Scribble it down, talk it out. Let it evolve.
Take some time to journal your story. Why now? What brought you here? What matters to you? What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? These aren’t fluffy questions, they’re the foundation of something meaningful.
From there, start shaping things with intention.
What do you stand for?
What makes you different (your USP)?
Who are you here to help? Your people, your ideal audience?
Map out the hows and whys. Get it out of your head and into something you can see and build on.
Then - and this is the fun part - start gathering inspiration.
Scroll, save, Pinterest to your heart’s content. Notice the colours that pull you in, the styles that feel like you.
Play around with names. Something intriguing, something that feels aligned.
Surround yourself with good people. Speak to those who can guide you on the practical side of things (the bits that feel a little less dreamy but equally important). Set up your business account, get your structure in place - all that jazz.
And when you’re ready… book in a cuppa with me.
Let’s talk about your story, your values, your vision. Let’s weave it all together into branding that doesn’t just look good, but feels like home, and stands the test of time.
Have I slightly romanticised it? Probably.
But honestly… why the fudge not?
You only live once. You may as well build something that means something. 💫
