As the summer is coming to a close (insert sad but happy face!) so is a bit of a change around here at Lu - Toodlepip Does Design

I am so fortunate to be working with some wonderful clients on their branding at the moment - it’s a wonder to see them evolve and my heart is so grateful for everyone who has trusted me with their branding and design!

I have accepted a freelance contract meaning I’m going to be working agency side for a while and so I won’t be taking any new design work on for the rest of 2026.

This is because a) my studio hours for TDD will now be done on evenings & weekends, and b) it’s the busiest time of the year for ᴛᴏᴏᴅʟᴇᴘɪᴘ ᴅᴇꜱɪɢɴꜱ

However I strongly encourage any one who would love to work with me for their branding or design to get in touch and we can schedule you in for 2027 - or if you need something sooner I know some fab designers who may be able to help! You know who you are my lovelies 🩷🩷🩷

So here goes, a new chapter, a new opportunity - huge thank you to you all for your support!

This is definitely a Toodlepip rather than a goodbye! Working with small businesses on their branding is my passion, and I know this opportunity is going to help me grow and only improve my designer skills!

Such a wonderful project to work on for the wonderful Andy of Citizenry - a consultancy and skills based training company for public servants - with a difference, and so when thinking up concepts the idea of "when they zig, we zag" felt like a very good fit!

This was a bespoke branding packaged, consisting of the essential branding items, plus Linkedin templates and slide deck templates to cover every eventuality!

Here's what Andy had to say about working with me...

This was one of those projects which got the thumbs up from the kids.

The lovely Kate at asked me to help her create some products that she could sell, to help loved ones of people who were grieving to support and open space to discuss their grief.

Our little animal characters were created, all in Kate's brand colours, and then these were used across book marks, greetings cards and I also supplied them as digital files for use across social media.

It was such a blessing to work with Kate on something so worthwhile.

Absolutely beautiful opportunity to work with the ever so wonderful on their branding for all the amazing things they do.

Branding really can help organise you, if you're a business who does more than 1 thing - Beth at Roots to Wings offers Play Based Tutoring, Play Therapy and Outdoor activities - so it was my job to visualise this.

Having assigned colours from the overall brand colour palette - we gave each part of her business icons too - to clearly differentiate each offering but still keep on brand.

The use of the brand repeat pattern is a reminder also that this wonderful business has lots to offer it's target audience.
