Is 2025 going to see a move from freelance to fractional? What is the difference between the two?

Freelance
✅ Non-committal client relationship
✅ Typically works on projects
✅ Flexible work pattern

Fractional
✅ Is a part-time employee or on a fixed contract
✅ Is part of a team
✅ Has structured work hours

Freelancers can get busy, so you must be flexible with deadlines and time constraints.

Fractional work brings stability to both sides. Deadlines are easier to plan, processes are maintained internally, and you can be part of the decision-making process.

While the term fractional is new, it is how I have worked with clients for many years. Being part of a team.

Looks like I’m going to have to change my title!

Happy New Year.

After what seems like a long time away from the computer, it's time to kick things off in 2024.

It's a great time to look back and forward to some exciting projects and having more in-person conversations.
