This was a fun project! A couple of weeks ago, I picked up the Corsair ThermalProtect 12vhpwr cable (designed to stop melting GPUs)... so I abused the cable to within and inch of its life, to see whether the thermal protection worked as claimed or not.

It's amazing how much multi-threading has come on in the past decade. I remember buying the Ryzen 1700 back in 2017 and 8 cores seemed crazy at the time 🤯. I actually didn't need all that power so I sold it and bought a 2400G instead. What CPU are you currently using?
