I know I say it quite a bit - backup your important work! Too often people are losing important files by putting off backing up.

BACKUP YOUR DATA!

I've just dealt with a 2nd customer this week to lose photos and files that are important to them. I cannot emphasise enough how important backing up is if your photos or files mean that much to you.

Most solutions I recommend are free! The most popular method is to sign up to Dropbox - it's free and allows you to backup your files very easily.

Scam Alert!!!

I have just fixed a laptop for a customer, she was called by a company claiming to be Microsoft and they were able to take remote control of her laptop.

As far as I'm aware, Microsoft DO NOT CALL customers in this way. If you have a similar call, hang up immediately.

1,391 infected software items were installed in less than a day. I'm happy to report that her laptop is now clean, safe and secure.
