Just a reminder that our Chess Club is on tonight!

Whether you’re a complete beginner, a casual player or you’ve been playing for years, everyone is welcome. Come down, grab a drink and get a few games in against some new opponents. 🍻♟️

We’ve got our tournament-ready chess boards set up and ready to go.

♟️ CHESS CLUB IS COMING TO THE GLASSHOUSE! ♟️

Starting next Wednesday, Chess Club will be meeting at The Glasshouse every Wednesday evening!

We’re starting things off as a relaxed, casual weekly meet-up for anyone who enjoys chess — whether you’re looking to play against some new opponents, improve your game, learn from other players, or you’ve never played properly before and want to give it a go.

🏆 Tournament-ready chess boards provided
🙌 All ages & abilities welcome
🧠 Casual games, learning & new opponents
💷 FREE table rent for the first month
💷 After that, just £3 per person for the whole evening

There’s no need to be an experienced player. Complete beginners, casual players and seasoned chess players are all welcome.

For now, the focus is simply on building a great local chess community and getting people together for some games. But if there’s enough interest, we’d love to introduce leagues and tournaments in the future! 🏆

From this week, Glasshammer Gaming will now be open from 12PM–11PM every Tuesday to Friday, giving you even more time to get down, meet people, play games and enjoy the hobby.
