🎾⚽️This year make time to play with your dog everyday. Even if it’s just for 5-10 minutes inbetween your zoom meetings.

With most of us working from home during covid, it’s also a good way to relax and step away from your home office. So not only will you be improving your dog’s wellbeing you will be enriching your own too.

I promise, your already devoted pup will be beside themselves and just that little bit more in love with you ☺️ 💜

This year make time to meet up with other doggy pals. Let your pup have a good run and wrestle with friends. Most dogs are very social creatures and as much as they love our company they get something else from playing with doggy pals🐾🐩

😃Let’s make our pups super happy this year and introduce them to the ‘sniff-ari’.

Our pups get a lot out of sniffing, 🐕🦮more than we appreciate. Just taking them out on a walk purely dedicated to sniffing and following their noses (aka a sniff-ari), is not only stimulating but is exhausting for them and will leave them feeling content and fulfilled.

Make this a priority on your 2022 doggy New Year’s resolutions list.

🥦🍌🫐🍍It’s a new year and a lot of us will think about making our own diets healthier by vowing to eat more fruit and veggies, after all they are jam packed with goodies like anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Did you know, your pup could benefit from some fruits and veggies in their life too?

Just adding a small handful to their meals can super charge their health without unbalancing their diet 🍓🍌🍍. just remember to check they are safe to feed (onions, grapes, macadamia nuts, avocados, raisins, chives are all harmful to our dogs).

⚠️ festive foods to keep out of paw’s reach⚠️
And here are some additional ones:🎄

1. Stuffing - it may contain onions, garlic or chives. These are all toxic to dogs

2. Cooked bones - these can become brittle and splinter into razor sharp shards when chewed, which can damage your pup’s guts.

3. Macadamia nuts - these mysteriously toxic nuts can cause tremors and wobbliness in dogs.

4. Alcohol - goes without saying! However, some Christmas foods can be laced or filled with it like cakes and liqueur chocolates. So make sure you keep these locked away from your pups inquisitive nose.

5. Tree chocolates - these dazzling foil wrapped beauties can be a temptation too far and if hung too low will be quickly guzzled wrapper and all! Chocolate contains theobromine, which is toxic to dogs and the foil wrappers can cause digestive obstructions.

6. Sweets and candies - some contain the sweetener xylitol, which is toxic to pups. It causes their blood sugar to drop to dangerously low levels rapidly.
