Because it was my birthday this week, I thought I would celebrate with a balloon animation!

I'm still new to Adobe After Effects, so my first attempt was overly complicated and involved great plans to edit all the shape paths individually. I was saved by the bezier warp tool - although I'm not convinced I used it correctly.

I did discover some great tutorials - this one was the most helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heYi6xLWvB0 - but ultimately had to cast out on my own to make this piece of silliness.

Here is an identity and branding project for Anna Norden Photography - one of my first after setting up Grumpy Frog Studio in 2022.

At some point, I made the crazy decision to draw the logo lettering by hand and then remade it in Illustrator. Does this mean I must now learn how to design a functional typeface? 😬

Anna is always a joy to work with and is exceptionally good with her clients, making them feel at ease even if they don't usually like posing for pictures. I love the way she captures natural portraits for any occasion.

Is it a little clichéd to use lilies and lily pad illustrations as assets to compliment my Grumpy Frog branding? Absolutely!
