PLEASE BE KIND 💚
Today, work began in Polmorla Walk to finally address the drainage issue that causes the large puddle whenever we have heavy rain.
For a long time, businesses in the walk have received complaints about the problem, despite it being an issue for the landlords to resolve. We’re pleased that work is now underway to fix it once and for all.
Unfortunately, some members of the public have been giving the contractors a hard time.And have been rude! Please remember that they are simply doing their job and working hard to improve the area for everyone. These repairs are expected to take a week, but the end result will be a permanent solution that benefits us all.
There is currently a sign near petzofwadebridge and wadebridgebikeshop stating that the footpath is closed. This is NOT the case it’s now a dead end. While that entrance the other side of the walk is temporarily inaccessible, the shops in Polmorla Walk remain open and accessible via the Platt.
Please continue to support the businesses in the walk, be patient while the work is carried out, and most importantly, be kind to the workers on site.
