💻 A Quick Note About Buying & Trading In Devices 💻

Here at Wadebridge Computers, we often get asked if we buy or trade in laptops, PCs and other devices.

Unfortunately, we don’t purchase or trade in devices from customers. The main reason is that we wouldn’t be able to offer you what your device is genuinely worth.

When we take a used device in, we have to factor in the time and cost involved in refurbishing, testing, repairing where necessary, cleaning, reinstalling software and providing a warranty. By the time we cover all of these costs, the price we could offer you would be considerably lower than what you may be able to achieve selling it yourself.

We’d much rather be upfront with you and make sure you get a fair price for your device, rather than offer you less than it’s worth. 👍

If you're looking to sell an old device, we'd recommend trying:

🗣️ Word of mouth — friends, family or colleagues
📱 Facebook Marketplace
🛒 eBay
💷 Trade-in services such as CeX, if you'd prefer a quick and straightforward option

📣 A Friendly Reminder from Wadebridge Computers 💻

We’d like to remind all of our customers that we operate on a first come, first served basis.

Once your device is booked in, our technicians aim for a 24–48 hour turnaround wherever possible. Please note that this timeframe may be longer if:

* Parts need to be ordered.
* The repair is more complex than initially expected.
* Additional faults are discovered during diagnosis.

We understand that everyone wants their device back as quickly as possible, and we always do our very best to complete every repair promptly. However, we will not move newer jobs ahead of customers who have already been waiting.

Unfortunately, our team has received a significant amount of abuse this week from people demanding their repairs be prioritised. This is simply not fair to our staff or to the customers who booked in before them.

We kindly ask that everyone treats our team with patience, understanding, and respect. Our staff work incredibly hard to help every customer, and they deserve to be spoken to with courtesy.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us and understands that quality repairs take time. We truly appreciate your patience and your custom. ❤️

🌟Opening Hours This Week🌟

We're heading to a technology show this week to meet with our suppliers and friends across the computer industry. We're looking forward to exploring the latest technology and, hopefully, bringing back some great new products and improved pricing for our customers.

As the whole team will be attending, we'll be closing the shop on *Thursday 2nd July at 4:00pm* and will reopen on *Monday 6th July at 9:00am*

If you need to get in touch while we're away, we'll still be monitoring our emails and voicemails. Please bear with us, as mobile signal at the event can be a little unreliable, but we'll respond as soon as we can during breaks.

⚠With the warnings in place, the heat certainly in place, we have taken the decision like many, to close the shop early again today
We hope everyone is taking care during the heat, lots of water, but also a reminder that water and devices do not mix!

Thursday 25th June also brings the new warning of Thunderstorms, another thing toat doesnt mix with devices, take care of your devices plugged in, PCs especially!
