🔧🎮 ALL DONE — AND DONE PROPERLY!

This one came into us after having an HDMI port replaced elsewhere… and as you can see from the before video, it wasn’t exactly the cleanest job we’ve ever seen. 😬

We removed the previous work, cleaned everything up and fitted the HDMI port properly.

✅ Port correctly seated
✅ Clean, solid solder joints
✅ Anchor points properly secured
✅ Board cleaned up
✅ Tested and working perfectly

Not all HDMI port replacements are done to the same standard. 👀

A repair isn’t just about getting it working — the workmanship underneath matters too.

🎥 And apparently, after watching my own video back, The Geeks Garage is now accepting donations towards a camera tripod… 😂😂

This console came into us after having the HDMI port replaced elsewhere — and the before video speaks for itself. 👀

Poor soldering, messy workmanship and definitely not how an HDMI replacement should leave a repair bench.

This Xbox Series X came in badly needing a service—the rear vents were almost completely blocked with dust and debris, seriously restricting the airflow. 😮

We’ve come a long way—but we’re nowhere near finished.

The path hasn’t always been easy, and there will undoubtedly be more difficult days ahead.

There will be criticism. There will be exhaustion. There will be days when you can barely remember why you started or why you continue pushing yourself so hard.

Anyone fighting to build something meaningful has felt this way at some point.

But don’t give up.

Some paths are steep because they lead to places few people dare to reach. Every setback makes you stronger, every criticism tests your belief, and every exhausting night is part of the price of turning a dream into reality.

Keep climbing, even when nobody sees or understands the work happening behind the scenes.

When you finally reach the top, you won’t just see the view—you’ll be able to look back and realise how far you’ve come and just how much you overcame to get there.

You may also discover others climbing behind you, following the footprints you left when you refused to give up.

Perhaps the journey isn’t only about reaching our own summit. Perhaps it’s also about showing others that, with enough hard work and determination, reaching theirs is possible too.
