What a fantastic day! 🎉 We recently opened our doors to celebrate 30 years of Kasdon, the official opening of our brand new 7,000 sq ft extension, and our exciting new chapter as part of the NOTE AB family.
It was an honour to welcome so many customers, partners, and colleagues to Wolverhampton, including NOTE AB CEO Johannes Lind-Widestam, Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael Wigston, and VP NOTE UK Neil Owen, alongside the wider group leadership team.
We’ve put together a behind-the-scenes look at how the day unfolded - including a look at our expanded manufacturing capabilities and the official ribbon cutting!

The Kasdon/NOTE Open Day was a celebration of a remarkable journey that began long before a new name Kasdon appeared above the door.
It was an opportunity to honour the heritage of Kasdon Electronics, recognise the vision of those who built the company, and acknowledge the loyalty, commitment and craftsmanship of the people who have dedicated so much of their working lives to its success.

One of the most special moments of the day was recognising colleagues who have served the business for more than 20 years. In a world where everything seems to move so quickly, that level of commitment is extraordinary. Together with many long serving team members, these individuals have helped shape the culture, reputation and values that continue to define the business today.

With more than 175 customers, suppliers, partners, colleagues and friends joining us, the event was a fitting tribute to the past and an exciting glimpse into the future.

Steve Stockley, MD of Kasdon said: "As we officially launch the transition of Kasdon Electronics, a NOTE company, to NOTE Wolverhampton in 2027, we do so with immense pride in where we've come from and enormous excitement for where we're going.

Midlands manufacturing experts sign up to ‘VORS’ to target £bn defence, medical and life sciences opportunity

Three Midlands manufacturing and design specialists are joining forces to make the most of a £bn opportunity in medical, life sciences, defence and security.

Outsourcing expert PP Control & Automation (PP C&A), electronics design and software developer ByteSnap Design and contract electronics manufacturer Kasdon has launched VORS (Versatile Outsourcing in Resilient Systems) to give the MoD, primes and major OEMs the opportunity to accelerate time-to-market, reduce risk and ensure sector compliance.
