🖨️ A living piece of printing history…

Right here at The Minster Press, we’re proud to still have a fully working original Heidelberg “Windmill” press in use.

First introduced in the early 20th century, this legendary machine was revolutionary — feeding, printing, and stacking paper in one smooth motion ⚙️

Built to last, it’s still going strong today, producing work with the same precision and character it always has. It’s a reminder that while technology moves on, true craftsmanship never goes out of style.

A special mention to Melvyn, our longest serving member of The Minster Press family, who has been with us for over 30 years — and is one of the few who truly knows this machine inside out.
