Poor audio in meetings. Remote colleagues struggling to hear. And a meeting room solution that needs to be simple for everyone to use.

That was the challenge facing a fast-growing business in the wellness and fitness sector, so Simon Tipping, Marketing Manager at MVS, joined Sales Consultant Rob Gowman to take the client to Neat’s London Experience Centre.

AV systems shouldn’t be ‘fit and forget’.

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is about keeping AV systems reliable, identifying potential issues early and helping prevent unexpected disruption.

From checking connections and cabling to updating software and firmware, cleaning equipment and displays, and testing system performance, regular maintenance can make a big difference to the reliability of your meeting spaces.

It’s often the small checks and adjustments that prevent bigger problems further down the line.

Our engineers have been on-site at a retail client's London Head office, fitting out their meeting spaces with Neat Bars, Neat Centers, branded Neat Pads, and LG Global displays.

Beyond just getting the tech working, it's the details that make the difference: screens levelled perfectly, cabling routed cleanly out of sight, and every install matched thoughtfully to the room's existing aesthetic.

We also acoustically treated each room with colour matched panels tailored to suit the space, enhancing the look and feel of every room while significantly improving the audio experience for both in-person and remote participants.

It's easy to overlook the precision behind a clean, professional-looking meeting room. But it's exactly that attention to detail our engineers take pride in.

18 meeting rooms. 1 day. A whole lot of cable ties. 🔧

Our engineers spent Friday on-site in Southwark, London, supporting a client whose previous AV provider had left them with messy cabling and ongoing connectivity issues.

The fix: simplifying and tidying cabling, updating software and firmware, cleaning kit and displays, and testing every space for reliable connectivity.

Small details, but big impact on day-to-day reliability.

Great AV projects don't end when the installation is complete.

This time, our Marketing Manager, Simon Tipping, joined Customer Success Account Manager Christine Binney and Internal Account Manager Joe Hudgell for a visit to one of our long-standing civil engineering clients at Bishop's Wharf.

Alongside discussions around future technology requirements, it was a great opportunity to see how our bespoke acoustic solution is performing in a live environment.

Designed to complement the aesthetics of the meeting space while significantly improving speech clarity, the installation has made a noticeable difference.

The client shared how much easier it is for people in the room to hear and be heard, creating a better meeting experience for both in-person and remote participants.

Last week, our Marketing Manager, Simon Tipping, joined Sales Consultant Rob Gowman on a visit to a London office where the client was having trouble using a townhall system purchased online and installed by someone the M&E team knew.

Following an assessment of the space, it became clear that parts of the installation hadn't been completed correctly, with equipment not connected as intended and key components missing, resulting in an unusable system.

With a first global townhall meeting from their new London HQ fast approaching, finding a workaround became the immediate priority. We arranged for our service team to attend site, show the client how to run the meeting and then provide a report on what is required for a permanent, professional townhall system.

When it comes to AV, always use a professional AV integrator who can manage the whole job from start to finish.
