A horrible unexpected 5am wake up call. The shop door being kicked in! Our security systems took over immediately, alerted the police and myself. Nothing stolen and we now have a name of the person (please read the full post)

Our excellent and lovely neighbours The Edge Eatery LTD. Providing a much needed Coffee and Bacon Brioche (it’s the Easter Day special and it was delicious, so go and treat yourself!)
The legend Roger Walker - The Bus Business - now known as the pyjama superhero 🦸♂️- provided a cut to size temporary glass replacement sheet!
Then the absolutely amazing Steve from SMC Roofing limited - just turned up at the shop with thick board and all the tools. In no time at all, my measurements slightly adjusted by Steve Bridgman, the board was cut and screwed into place. He’s also measured up for the replacement glass and will have it fitted in no time at all. Absolute Legend!
So on to the person who did this - who is now known to us. Although I’m still here dealing with this after 2 hours sleep and 6 hours in the shop getting it sorted we have been made aware that this person maybe struggling with things at the moment. It wasn’t a personal attack, it was more of a lash out at his surroundings, which we took the majority of the blow!
So our important message of the day is to reach out to people around you that may be struggling or need some help and support.
