Netvision IP Ltd are a long-established security company based in Staffordshire, bordering the West Midlands.

The company has rapidly expanded and due to the increase in workload, we are now looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team.

The job role will involve being responsible for assisting with installation and service calls for both electronic security, AV and IT systems.

Your day-to-day role will include the installation and maintenance of CCTV, ANPR cameras, Access Control and also Intruder alarm systems.

Basic IT skills & and knowledge of Intruder Systems is a must and a minimum of 12 months proven experience.

The successful candidate must be reliable, flexible and have excellent communication skills. Full UK Driving Licence required.
We are an SSAIB certified company and therefore would be required to carry out a full background and DBS check.

Working Hours 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday + overtime when required: -

Call out rota TBA.
Salary: TBC (negotiable depending on experience)

Based in Staffordshire working from home and at our customers premises

• Requires good knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
• Layer 3 Networking including routing OSPF and MPLS
• Layer 2 Networking including VLAN’s, Spanning Tree and LAG
• Monitoring experience for network infrastructure and patch management
• VPN deployment for remote users and site to site connectivity
• Management of Firewalls including WatchGuard, Mikrotik, and Ubiquiti
• Management, patching of servers and workstations
• Deployment of Servers including Server 2016 / 2019 and VMware
• Good understanding of Linux i.e. Redhat
• Management of 365 and deployment to end users
• Basic experience with CCTV IP cameras / networking and bandwidth management

Fibre uplink from the main building into the pool house & 2 new colorvu cameras along side our existing system. 8 data points tested and terminated, 2 wireless access points and a little firmware upgrade to existing switches whilst we are there!
