People often ask, isn’t a wordmark just a font? Not really. A font is the starting point, but a wordmark is where the brand comes alive. 👑
Take this one for example: a simple typeface was customised into something unique. The word Royal gets a crown, and the R in Jester flicks out with a bell, a fun nod to the brand name. On top of that, subtle tweaks make everything flow: the R curves neatly into the O, and the E, S, T, and L all share the same slant so it feels balanced and intentional.
It’s those little details that take it from just text to a true brand identity.
