Another look inside the DZA workshop…

This is our Mimaki CG-60AR – a precision cutting plotter that helps us accurately cut vinyl, graphics, and other materials for our projects.

We recently had the pleasure of delivering full production for this incredible The North Face activation on the Thames, working on behalf of our client .

Projects like this don’t happen without a lot of people working together, so a big shout-out to our trusted suppliers Technical Solutions AV , XG GROUP - Experts in Graphics, Showforce, Wise Security, Gofer Limited and Orange Jackets – and to EP Climbing, who built the rather impressive wall!

👋 Meet Darren – DZA’s Workshop/Site Manager.

With 22 years in the exhibition industry, Darren has built stands for brands across Europe and beyond, working across industries ranging from mobile phones and pharmaceuticals to automotive.

These days, you’ll find him helping keep everything running smoothly in the DZA workshop and out on site.

His favourite part of the job is problem-solving and the design process, while the recent DoorDash Ads project in Cannes takes the prize for his most interesting DZA project so far.

Favourite bit of kit? The wall saw. No competition. 🪚

And an impressive bit of Darren trivia: until recently, he lived on the Isle of Wight and commuted over every week. ⛴️

Now that’s commitment to the commute!

From the DZA workshop to Cannes. 🇫🇷☀️

This July, our team helped bring the DoorDash Ads activation to life in Cannes.

On behalf of our client Jack Morton, and with support from Staged Events, DZA built the project from start to finish – creating all the set elements and delivering the technical implementation behind the experience.

A lot of designing, building, problem-solving, and collaboration went into making it happen.

Before it reached site, each LED strip was measured, hand-soldered, tested, and quality checked by our electronics team to ensure it performed exactly as intended.
