The First Reviews about the 9950X3D are out!
Although there are not many review around, there are a handful and our favourite review is by Gamers Nexus:

This is well worth a watch.

If you don't want to watch it I can sum it up simply

9950X3D for gaming give the same performance as the 9800X3D. The values however are so close that this could be considered within a margin for error.

Productivity wise, this CPU appears to be very powerful, but it also uses alot of power. It has been recorded drinking over 200 Watts of hard earned money.

Other reviers have looked at the 9900X3D however the price vs performance doesn't make sense so spend for an extra 10% and get the 9950X3D and get 25% more performance.

AMD has confirmed that the 9900X3D and its new flagship model 9950X3D will be selling on 12 March. Reviews are expected around this time as well. Allow me to do the hard work for you and find you the best reviews. We are looking forward to finding out what these new chips are capable of.

Hi Everyone,

After the announcement by Nvidia of their new 5000 series GPU's there has been a lot of negative reviews. The reviews are based on the simple truth, that from a hardware perspective there is not a significant hardware bump between generations (except the flagship model of course).

What has been forgotten is an announcement last year from Nvidia that they believed they have reached the pinnacle of hardware technology for GPU's. It was categorically stated that they believe further improvements is through A.I.

This is exactly what they delivered. A graphics card with A.I. features, which is specifically designed to work with their proprietary DLSS 4 software and a new frame generation technology.

It may be that the new nvidia cards are something special when they are released without the use of DLSS or frame generation.

It is equally plausible that the new cards are going to only reach their full potential with that proprietary technology.

We are looking forward to the actual true performance differences run when the cards are released.

Wow! The formally announced 9950X3D processor could be an incredible powerhouse for both content creators and gamers. This is only one of the announcements from CES 2025.

As predicted nVidia CEO provided a spectacular show leveraging new AI capabilities in the Blackwell GPU series, and bold claims that the new 5070 has the same performance as the 4090 for approximately £1500 less. The cards have bigger coolers and have reduced slot sizes too.

So much impressive tech coming our way, we are excited !!!!
